Matamba Bush Camp is just outside of Vaalwater on the Hermanusdoring Road off R33 to Lephalale. We are 3 km in on the D1882 off the R33. .

Directions to Matamba
Directions from Johannesburg and Pretoria
Take the N1 towards Polokwane.
At the Kranskop toll plaza come off the highway and turn left towards Modimolle.
Pass straight through and head towards Vaalwater (60km)
At Vaalwater travel straight through the stop street, after about 1km Zeederbergs Spar and fuel station will be on your left
TURN RIGHT onto the R33 towards Lephalale.After 26km the road D1882 to Hermanusdoring and the Matamba bush campsite sign is on the left.
Turn down this dirt road and travel for 2km. the gate to Matamba is on the left.
Directions from Lephalale
Leave Lephalale on Road (R510) heading towards Thabazimbi.
Turn left onto R33 – signposted: Modimole.
In 58.6km turn right towards Hermanusdoring – Gravel / sand road D1882.
In 2.4 km see the camp site entrance on left hand side
Directions from THABAZIMBI
Leave THABAZIMBI on road (R510) heading towards LEPHALALE.
In 32 km turn right onto R510 – signposted: Thabazimbi.
In 38.3 km turn right towards Vaalwater on the R510.
In 15.7 km turn left towards Witfontein on D1882 (Gravel Road).
In 25.8 km the camp site entrance on right hand side.
